A Website Designer is a Website Design business started by Mike Allbutt in Melbourne. Mike began learning web design in 1999. It was a hobby at first but within a few years, due to gaining success in search engines, Mike left his work as a carpenter to build websites full time.

The official business of awebsitedesigner was created in 2006. Mike used all of his SEO knowledge to launch the site and in a few months was on the first page of Google for many of the most competitive terms in the industry such as "website design". Within 6 months of launching the site, it was appearing in position #1 on Google and all other popular search engines in Australia and as such A Website Designer began to be flooded with work from new clients who wanted to achieve the same results.

Mike implemented the same techniques for his clients who all rose to the top of the search engines and are still reaping the rewards today. Over 3 years Mike built hundreds of websites for small to medium business around Australia and the world focusing specifically on open source Content Management System (CMS) websites putting control in the hands of his clients for website updates.

After moving to Mexico to undertake missionary work in 2009 Mike passed the business onto Dan Norris who had been running his own successful Web Design business since 2005. Dan's Business Web Circle specialised in the same open source Content Management System (CMS) websites and had built a strong reputation in the industry for excellent design, first rate customer service and value for money. In 4 years Dan had built over 300 websites for clients in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and around Australia including sites for small businesses, large businesses and internet-based businesses.

A Website Designer has been fully integrated into Web Circle forming a trusted australian provider of first class, open source website design and associated services.
