MYOB’s latest business monitor release has some interesting statistics for small business. This article from StartupSmark summarises the research but in short it found that 1 on 3 business don’t have a website and even less are using any form of social media in their business. The most telling statistic however is 8 out of 10 customers said they would look for an alternative if a company’s site wasn’t adequate. The days of just having a web ‘presence’ are gone. Customers now expect to get value from your site and will leave in droves if you aren’t offering it.
