Long tail keywords

Hi guys, Gab here following up my post from last week on keyword research with a post on long tail keywords.

So once you get used to do some keyword research, the next target is to find “long tail keywords”. When you think about your business you might think about a keyword to target being your main product or service. For example we target the word ‘Website Design‘ and ‘Website Development‘. We get a lot of traffic for these terms but they are very difficult to compete for. Realistically when people go into Google they will search for a whole bunch of different things, everyone is different. For example they might search for ‘web site design Brisbane’, or ‘web development Melbourne’, or ‘find a WordPress website designer in Canberra’. You only get a couple of searches for these terms but there are thousands of different combinations of things people might search for.
