Quite often when clients from existing small businesses come to us for a website a lot of the reason behind it is they want something that looks professional and does a good job at reflecting their business.
For recent client Chic Sister this was certainly the case. Their old website wasn’t exactly reflecting the ‘Chic’ image they were trying to portray.
Today we launched a site for Bikram Yoga Gold Coast. The site is built on our CMS Basic package and uses the WordPress CMS. It features a homepage slider using images with permission from Sean Scott photography, newsletter integration, image gallery and more. Check it out at Bikram Yoga Gold Coast.
This is another recent design, for tpk.com.au. TPK is a company that provides business solutions like; Value and Risk Management to high profile clients throughout Sydney. The design is quite minimalistic and based on the Joomla CMS it uses some javascript effects for the home page image transitions and rotating testimonials. Today we launched our second Magento site this month with the go-live of soleintegrity.com.au. The site is built on the Magento Commerce platform and has a lot of extra advanced features including a homepage slider, a full online product catalogue with multiple-attribute products, colour swatch extension where customers can click the image of the shoe colour they like to show a bigger image as well as select this option automatically in preparation for purchase (try it here), search engine friendly URLs, a custom accordion products menu for easy product navigation as well as integration with PayPal and eWay.
Last week I launched my own ecommerce site, Discount Deals and some of the results have been very encouraging. We have had almost 10,000 people to the site in 8 days. We haven’t advertised anywhere (no pay per click) and we haven’t done any SEO. We’ve done it by spending around $400 and providing more than $400 worth of value to people in the process (as opposed to advertising which provides none). This post will detail what we have done and the results of what we have achieved in 1 week.
