A peek inside a simple website design

I’m really excited today to announce the re-development of our main company website Web Circle. Here is a screenshot of the final site which you can click on to be taken to the site.

In re-designing this site my focus was on simplicity. We started working on it about 2 months ago when I decided I wanted a site that represented the way we approach designing and building sites and apps. I also wanted to do this without overloading the site with content.  Read More…

Latest work March 2012

We haven’t updated the website examples section of the blog for a while so I thought it timely to showcase a few projects we have been working on lately.

Web Control Room

Web Control Room is a tool that shows a simple 1 page report to help small businesses and web professionals get a quick snapshot of how they are performing. We launched it last week both as a web app and a mobile site.

Mobile site versions

The app itself runs via the browser and also on mobile devices. We are currently working on an app but while we wait the standard version of the site runs fine on an iPad and there is a specific, simplified mobile version that loads when you access it via a mobile phone.

The app is designed to run on the browser via computers, tablets or mobile phones.

The value of professional web design

Chic Sister beforeQuite often when clients from existing small businesses come to us for a website a lot of the reason behind it is they want something that looks professional and does a good job at reflecting their business.

For recent client Chic Sister this was certainly the case. Their old website wasn’t exactly reflecting the ‘Chic’ image they were trying to portray.

New Site – Bikram Yoga Gold Coast

Today we launched a site for Bikram Yoga Gold Coast. The site is built on our CMS Basic package and uses the WordPress CMS. It features a homepage slider using images with permission from Sean Scott photography, newsletter integration, image gallery and more. Check it out at Bikram Yoga Gold Coast.

A new website design: TPK.com.au

This is another recent design, for tpk.com.au. TPK is a company that provides business solutions like; Value and Risk Management to high profile clients throughout Sydney. The design is quite minimalistic and based on the Joomla CMS it uses some javascript effects for the home page image transitions and rotating testimonials.
