How to use wordpress plugins

In this video I show you how to extend WordPress with one of thousands of excellent plugins available. The plugin used in this tutorial is EZPZ OCB which is a backup plugin.

Contact forms in WordPress – Contact form 7

Having contact forms in your website is essential. With WordPress I have found the easiest way to set up simple contact form is by using a plugin called Contact Form 7.

It enables you to simply create contact forms and other forms and embed them into posts and pages within WordPress.

In this video I run through how to add and edit a simple contact form with the plugin Contact Form 7.

To install Contact Form 7 just search for ‘Contact Form 7′ in the WordPress plugins area.

Blog posts in WordPress – WordPress blogging

If you are going to be using your WordPress website for blogging (which we highly recommend) you’ll need to get up to speed on ‘posts’ in WordPress.

WordPress blogging is where it all started. These days it’s considered a great simple content management system (CMS) but WordPress started out as a blogging platform and it remains one of if not the world’s best blogging system.
